Very nice place and friendly service! Excellent food and wine! My wife and I shared the Beefchop of Scottona for 2, and glass of fantastic Amarone in glasses that could contain half a bottle. Also good with children - our 7-year old got a very good spaghetti with tomato sauce, and he also loved a few slices from the Scottona.

For our first trip to Lake Garda I was looking for a good local restaurant. I found it on a Dutch website and said it was one of the best in de Lake Garda area. The restaurant is very old school and beautiful! The atmosphere is great and you feel most welcome. The waiters are something else, they are a well oiled machine and are very helpful to help you make a selection of their delicious food. For the main course we chose the "Monte baldo" beef dish, with cheese, rosemary potatoes and truffle. It is to die for! We liked the restaurant so much we ended up coming back two times during our stay. Hope to see them again next year. Also the Balsamic vinegar is fantastic, take a bottle home with you! Absolutely superb. Staff was super friendly and also helpful. As Northern Europeans we were oblivious to the portions and kind of meals, so we just ordered whatever sounded good. They helped us sizing it down (they suggested to actually go half a size down with 3 different dishes) and it was plenty and delicious. Will definitely come back.

Beautiful seating beneath olive trees on the terrace. Very knowledgeable service. Food was outstanding, some of the best Italian food from pasta to meats cheese and dessert. Very meat forward menu overall. Reasonable prices. All in all a very memorable experience with outstanding Italian food you might not have tried before. Definitely worth a visit.
